| I like shooting with availiable light and the challenge of shooting in low light. I prefer short prime (non-zoom) lenses and love to be close to my subject. My most used lens is the Sigma 30mm/1.4 I shoot concerts, portraits/fashion and street photography with concerts taking up most of my time. I hardly shoot any of the music big shots but mostly those bands that are about to break through. I don't mind that, but I found that people are more impressed by a bad photo of Bruce Springsteen than a great pic of let's say Airbag (of which you probably never heard about) My photos generally are 'as is'. There's hardly any post production on my photos. I might change the colour temperature or convert a photo to black and white. I do sharpen my photos after scaling. Very few photos are cropped (slightly). Although I shoot with a dSLR most of the time, rangefinder cameras are my first love. |
